CMHA is excited to team up with the New Britain Bees to host another morning of fitness and fun for the whole family this summer. CMHA's Run for Recovery: Bee A Champion for Mental Health fundraiser will be held at New Britain Stadium on June 23, 2018.
We have an awesome day at the ballpark planned, featuring a 5K race on a USA Track & Field certified course, a fitness walk, kids fun run, food, prizes, and plenty of kid and family-friendly activities, from a bounce house and games to an appearance by Bees' Mascot Sting.

Community Mental Health Affiliates (CMHA) is a private non-profit treatment provider headquartered in New Britain, with 11 locations in 3 cities throughout northwest and central Connecticut.
CMHA partners with clients and the community to promote recovery from mental illness and addiction, treating 6,100 adults and children each year.
CMHA is Connecticut’s first fully Joint Commission accredited Behavioral Health Home.
This year’s Run for Recovery is especially important as we begin fundraising to support one of CMHA’s largest and most innovative ventures in our 40-year history—the consolidation and relocation of 38 programs to our new building at 227 Main Street in New Britain.
CMHA must raise $9 million to make this project possible, and support from friends like you will help us reach our goal. The cost savings afforded by centralizing our programs at the new headquarters will enable us to focus even more resources on crucial programs and efforts such as battling the opiate crisis.
