Why Run for Recovery?
About CMHA
Community Mental Health Affiliates (CMHA) is a private non-profit treatment provider headquartered in New Britain, with 11 locations in 3 cities throughout northwest and central Connecticut.
CMHA partners with clients and the community to promote recovery from mental illness and addiction, changing the lives of 6,000 adults, children and families each year.
This year’s Run for Recovery is especially important as we begin fundraising to support one of CMHA’s largest and most innovative ventures in our 40-year history—the consolidation and relocation of 38 programs to our new building on Main Street in downtown New Britain.
CMHA must raise $3 million to make this project possible, and support from friends like you will help us reach our goal. The cost savings afforded by centralizing our programs at the new headquarters will enable us to focus even more resources on crucial programs and efforts such as battling the opiate crisis.
Become a Fundraiser for CMHA!
When you register for the event, you'll see an option to "Become a Fundraiser." And even if you don't register, this link will allow you to become a fundraiser as well!
Both options allow you to set up your own personalized fundraising page to raise funds to benefit CMHA.
You can share the page on social media, via email, however you like with friends and family--it's super easy.
Every dollar raised means more hope and recovery for our clients living with mental illness and addiction.
Thank you!
