Description

YOUTH Duathlon- Can you run and ride a bike? Are you looking for a new challenge? We will have different distances for each age group. New course this year in the beautiful Fort Trumbull neighborhood on the water! This is a family friendly event where we encourage all abilities to enter and complete the course. Timing  splits will be recorded for all 5 areas and medals will be awarded to every finisher based on finishing time. Music and food will follow. Everyone will run and bike on closed roads/trails. All biking is done on paved roads. Training wheels can be used. Helmets are required for all. One time $10 USAT membership will be added at checkout if you are not already a USAT member. Membership covers all USAT events for the year, including Proud to TRI, Norwich Splash and Dash etc.  This is one of the three TRIPLE CROWN events and one of five in the HIGH FIVE SERIES. Registration for the duathlon CLOSES Friday, April 27th at noon. There is no Saturday or Sunday registration.
