Are you able to get up early and don't mind being at the race before everyone else? We are looking for 4 volunteers to help at the registration table to make sure everyone gets their race packets quickly and has any last minute questions answered. Arrival Time: 7:00 AM! Done: 15 min before the race starts!

Details

Have you done a duathlon or triathlon before? Have your kids done these events before? Do you know how to setup a transition area and want to help the participants? We are in need of 10 people to help buckle helmets, get the bikes off the racks, point kids in the right direction, and of course cheer them on! Must have energy and enthusiasm.
Arrival time: 7:30 AM when the 1st athlete can enter transition
Done: When the last participant enters the run course

Corner of Chelsea Street and East Street in grass transition area. Check in to volunteer tent.

Bike/Run Course Volunteer

Details

We are looking for 20 people to help direct participants along the course. We will post you at turns and within sight distance of the next volunteer. We want to have as many volunteers as possible along the course to make sure kids feel safe and stay on course. We expect the Navy and USCGA to be here to help as well.
Arrival time: 8:00 AM
Done: When last participant clears your section of the course

Location

Check in at the volunteer tent at the corner of Chelsea St and East Street. The run or bike captain will direct you to your exact placement that morning.

Details

Can you run and ride a bike? These people must bring their bike to the race. We are looking for 4 people to follow the last athlete (one in each age group). The pace will be dictated by the last participant in each age group (5-6) (7-10) (11-17) or (supersprint). We are looking for these people to signal our course captains where the final person is by wearing a race shirt and staying at the end until the completion of your group.
Arrival: 8:00 AM
Done: At conclusion of your group's race

Meet at the volunteer tent to get directions, shirt, walkie talkie, and safety vest. Corner of Chelsea St and East St.

Athlete Announcer

We are looking for 3 people to help us announce every athlete's name at the finish line! You have to be quick and work as a team to catch the athlete's number as they cross.

We need skilled photographers along the run or bike course that can get a clear photograph of every participant. We need to make sure that the athlete's bib number or helmet number is visible in each photograph so that parents can easily search for their child on the website after the race.
