VIRTUAL RACE INFO
The 2025 Celtic Solstice is scheduled to be a live race BUT we are excited to include a a virtual component as well! There are so many that want to be part of the Celtic Solstice run fam, we are happy to offer this option for those who cannot attend in person. So get registered today and then check out the next steps below!
I registered to run virtually…what next?
1️⃣CHECK OUT OUR SOCIAL TEAM PROGRAM. Get your friends to join the race! Once your team reaches 10 people, you all get a $10 discount! For more information see our social team page.
2️⃣JOIN OUR VIRTUAL COMMUNITY. Follow our The Celtic Solstice page on Facebook. The page will have all the information you need to complete your run, as well as interactive activities, encouragement & race day tips.
While most of our virtual fun will happen on our Facebook page, you can also join us on our other social media accounts. You can find us on Instagram at @DEmarathon and Strava @Delaware Running Festival.
We’ll also be sending out need to know information through emails.
3️⃣PREPARE FOR YOUR RACE DAY

You can use any app you want to time your race or if you choose run untimed.

4️⃣HOW TO RUN VIRTUALLY. We’re encouraging everyone to complete their miles on race day for a true race feel. However, you’re free to do your race ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!
You may use whatever timing and distance tracking method/app that you choose. You are not required to submit your time, however, if you want your time posted online, you must submit your time on Run Sign Up by Dec. 31. Regardless of whether or not you submit your time, you will get your premium and medal.
5️⃣ENJOY YOUR SWAG! All virtual runners will receive their gear by mail.
