Community Moonlight Stroll Powered By United Way

United Way is leading this walk initiative by allocating resources to create the Community Moonlight Stroll, an event aimed at helping small local nonprofits generate crucial funding. This peer-to-peer fundraising platform helps charity partners engage their network of volunteers and donors in a novel way, through an engaging event experience. Our goal is to unite local nonprofit organizations and community members to support causes they care deeply about, making a meaningful difference in Beaufort County. With this investment from United Way, local charities will be provided with a new fundraising mechanism, empowering them to sustain their vital work in our communities. Through this initiative, the funds raised by each charity partner will be directly allocated to them, remaining local to ensure a significant impact.

 

To form a Team for this event, you must meet the following criteria:

1. IRS Recognition: Organizations must be IRS-recognized 501©(3) organizations with an EIN (Employer Identification Number).
2. Local Services: Must be located in and providing services within Beaufort County, NC.
3. Team Captain: Assign a staff member or volunteer leader to serve as the Team Captain.
