Whether you are running, walking, shopping at the market, or just coming out to enjoy the atmosphere, Run in the Dark is a family-friendly event that brings our community together for a great cause.

Get ready to lace up your running shoes, enjoy a festive fall evening, and make a difference for local children and families. This year's event will feature our 1 Mile Fun Run, 5K, and Fall Market, along with music, food, and fun for all ages.

What to Expect

1 Mile Fun Run & 5K

Whether you are a competitive runner, casual walker, or participating with family and friends, there is something for everyone.

Fall Market

Shop local vendors offering handmade goods, gifts, treats, and more.

Live DJ

Enjoy upbeat music throughout the evening and keep the energy going from start to finish.

Kid-Friendly Activities

Bounce houses and other fun activities will help keep the little ones entertained.

Food Trucks

Grab dinner, snacks, and sweet treats from a variety of on-site food vendors.

Why We Run

Run in the Dark is more than a race. It is a way for our community to come together to support children and families right here in North Tarrant & Denton County.

Every registration, sponsorship, and donation helps Community Storehouse provide foundational resources that build a stronger, more successful future. Proceeds from this event help support programs such as:

• Food assistance for local families
• After-school tutoring and educational support
• Weekend snack programs for children in local schools
• Additional resources that help families navigate seasons of hardship

About Community Storehouse

Community Storehouse is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting communities by providing foundational resources to build a stronger, more successful future.

We serve children and families across our local school communities by helping meet basic needs, support education, and create pathways toward greater stability and self-sufficiency.
