Join the District Alliance for Safe Housing, Inc (DASH) at our 2nd annual Dash-for-DASH 5K! We are excited to host this fun community event on Saturday, June 23rd at the Metropolitan Branch Trail in DC.
This USATF-certified flat course begins in the parking lot at the Rhode Island Avenue Shopping Center, near the entrance to the Metropolitan Branch Trail. The course is out and back heading South at the start, with the first turnaround at M Street, NE (NoMa Metro Station), then headed back north with the second and final turnaround at Franklin Street, NE (under the bridge) and back to the finish line in the parking lot. Your registration includes a run on a USATF-certified flat course, your bib with a timing chip, a race t-shirt, and refreshments at the finish line.
Event Schedule:
7:00AM - Registration and Check In
7:45AM - Opening Remarks & Warm Up
8:00AM - 5K Race Begins
Event conclusion following the race.
Early Race Packet Pick Up: Thursday, June 21st at 5PM-7PM at the Red Derby (3718 14th St NW, DC 20010)
*The race will take place rain or shine*
Parking: Free parking is available in the Rhode Island Ave Shopping Center parking lot.
