The DC Race 5K at Silo Square is more than just a race, it’s an opportunity for our community to come together and make a real impact. This annual fundraiser supports the DeSoto County Dream Center and the work we do every day to serve students, families, and neighbors in need. From education programs to food assistance and outreach initiatives, every dollar raised helps us continue creating opportunities and meeting needs across our community.

Why we run?

DeSoto County Dream Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which focuses on Title 1 school students & their families by providing them with food, clothing, quality healthcare and educational assistance. The DeSoto County Dream Center's goal in Northwest Mississippi is to eliminate barriers that keep people from reaching their full potential. By building relationships within the community, the Dream Center connects people, programs and services. The Dream Center offers a consistent and reliable hand-up, not just a hand out by coordinating the basic needs of families with businesses, other non-profits and individuals.
