WHY we run!
DeSoto County Dream Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which focuses on Title 1 school students & their families by providing them with food, clothing, quality healthcare and educational assistance. The DeSoto County Dream Center's goal in Northwest Mississippi is to eliminate barriers that keep people from reaching their full potential. By building relationships within the community, the Dream Center connects people, programs and services. The Dream Center offers a consistent and reliable hand-up, not just a hand out by coordinating the basic needs of families with businesses, other non-profits and individuals.

DREAM Scholars Program:
This past year alone, 122 students were directly impacted, reaching 454 individuals across their families through relational support and resource connections. The results are meaningful, 73% of students improved their reading scores and 54% improved in math, but the impact goes far beyond the classroom.
Emergency Needs Closet:
This past year, we saw a significant rise in need, with a 162% increase in individuals served. In response, 1,394 individuals were provided with nourishment and essentials, supporting 396 families in crisis. While these numbers reflect growing demand, they also tell a deeper story of a community that showed up, neighbors, donors, and volunteers coming together to meet urgent needs with compassion and care.
Trinity Health Center:
This past year, 1,395 patients received care, with a 17% increase in patients served and over 20% new patient relationships formed, a clear sign that more individuals are finding the support they need. With the addition of expanded diagnostic capabilities, including 461 same-day lab results through point-of-care technology, patients are receiving faster, more efficient care when it matters most.
