RULES & REGULATIONS
General Rules
- You MUST wear your timing chip on your ankle throughout the race. NO CHIP = NO TIME.
- Relay teams must exchange the timing chip in transition.
- Racers and spectators must always follow volunteer and official instructions.
- Transition will remain closed until the last biker has started the run. No re-entry for any reason.
- DO NOT litter or abandon equipment.
- Headphones are permitted during the run, but NOT allowed on the bike and strongly discouraged during the swim.
Swim
- 
Swim cap must be worn. 
- 
Wetsuits are permitted. 
- 
No fins, gloves, paddles, or flotation devices of any kind are allowed. 
Bike
- 
Athletes must wear a bike helmet at all times. 
- 
Mount and dismount only at the designated mount/dismount line. 
- 
Obey all traffic laws unless otherwise directed by an official or law enforcement. 
- 
Drafting is not allowed—penalties or disqualification may result. 
- 
Athletes are responsible for knowing and following the prescribed bike course. No time adjustments will be made for any reason. 
- 
Large potholes will be marked when possible, but athletes must remain alert and make safe decisions to avoid road hazards. 
Run
- 
Bib number must be worn and visible on the front at the finish line. 
-
