Make a difference to the animals in your community by joining us for the 36th Annual Dog Jog 5K and Fun Run, a fundraising event that supports CHA Animal Shelter.
To participate in this event, simply register to either complete a 5K Run/Walk or a 1-Mile Run/Walk virtually or onsite at Genoa Park. It is always a great experience to enjoy a fun-filled morning of exercise with your ENTIRE family, including your dog! For those who are unable to join us for the in-person event on October 4 at Genoa Park, there is a virtual option, where participants can submit results anytime between October 4 and October 11! To submit virtual results, simply go to the results tab at the top of this page between October 4 and October 11, and click the button that says "Submit Virtual Results".
You don't have to run or walk or even attend the event to make a difference at our shelter - you can always become a fundraiser and make your voice heard in your community:

You can make the page in memory of a lost pet or even make a goofy page for an energetic pet that needs to burn some energy on the run. Either way, it's for a great cause!
We will be offering a special Thank You item to all who raise funds for this year's event! The Top 3 Fundraisers will receive an additional special prize basket.
Donations can be made until 8:00pm on Friday, October 2nd. If you're making your donation in support of a specific fundraising team, please be sure to get your donation in before the deadline!
