Dogs Who Jog 5K

Sat June 10, 2023 Utica, MI 48317 US Directions

FAQ’s

1. Is this event accommodating to reactive dogs? We would discourage reactive dogs from attending this event. While we are limiting the number of dogs in the 1 mile and 5k to prevent overcrowding, it would still be a difficult environment for a reactive dog. We would encourage the virtual option for those with reactive dogs. This allows you to complete the 5k & 1 mile in your own space throughout the month of June, and we would ship shirts & medals. 2. Can I run or walk with more than one dog? No. For safety reasons (for your dogs and those around you), human participants can only run or walk the 5K & 1 Mile with one dog. Dogs must also remained leashed at all times.

3. Does this benefit a charity? Proceeds from this event are donated to Romeo High School’s cross country programs. The Romeo bulldog family volunteers on race day and is a big reason this event is possible! You’ll hear the whole team cheering for you throughout the course. If you’ve joined us in the past, you know this group well.

4. Are there sponsor and vendor opportunities? Yes, please reach out to us to learn more at jenrockbuslepp@gmail.com

5. I’m not a runner (or my dog isn’t a runner) can I walk in the 5k or 1 mile? Yes! This is a walker-friendly event! We just ask that walkers start in the back so runners (especially those with dogs) don’t need to pass around walkers at the start. This will make it more enjoyable for walkers at the start, too!
