This year we are asking for your consideration in helping a Bowman family during a very difficult time.
First grader, Luca Sparks, is a funny, sweet, outgoing kid who loves his family. In July 2022, he was diagnosed with Congenital Neutropenia, a type of autoimmune disease. The result of this diagnosis includes chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, a six week stay in a hospital in San Francisco, and six more weeks in San Francisco recovering. This is not only an emotional toll on the family, but a financial one as well. The family is now facing overwhelming expenses, both medical (treatments, therapies, and post-treatment) and personal (loss of income, living costs, and a baby arriving in April). If possible, lets help ease some of the burden.
