Activities and projects in which members actively participated include:

  • Making and distributing masks for COVID-19 protection
  • Making and distributing hand sanitizer for COVID-19 protection
  • Special COVID-19 shopping for quarantined seniors
  • Assembling toiletry bags for homeless
  • Conducting ice cream socials for seniors
  • Assembling back-to-school backpacks for homeless children
  • Building rest pavilion in Claremont Wilderness Park
  • Assembling 1,000 prosthetic arms
  • Organizing and leading teens at leadership camp experiences twice each year

The Claremont Sunrise Rotary Foundation also financially supports the activities of other non-profits, including:

  • ShelterBox - international disaster assistance
  • Youth sports scholarships
  • Claremont Little League - bats and electronic scoreboard
  • Foothill Family Shelter
  • Uncommon Good
