Q. What time do the two events begin? A. The approximate start times are 7:30 AM for the 1K Kid's Fun Run and 8:30 AM for the 5K. The 5K will not begin until the 1K is complete, we know that lots of parents are juggling kids and taking turns at events and we do our best to make it easy.
Q. Are baby joggers/strollers allowed? Do kids in joggers/strollers need to be registered for the 5K? A. Yes, but please be aware and stay clear of other runners. Young kids in joggers/strollers do not need to be registered for the 5K.
Q: Can my dog run with me? A: Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and under control of their owners. No retractable leashes, please be aware and stay clear of other runners.
Q. What is in the race packet? A. The race packet includes your bib and race shirt. Details can be found on the PACKET PICKUP page.
Q. Can I register at packet pickup? A. All registrations are done online and may be done using a personal phone at any time before race day. The system updates immediately, and we will be able to check you in. However, the process is easier on a larger device, and registering early helps ensure you get a race shirt and may make you eligible for an early registration discount.
Q. Is there race day packet pick-up? A. Official packet pickup schedule is on the PACKET PICKUP page. We highly recommend completing packet pickup on Sunday or Wednesday. However, we realize it may be impossible for some people to pick up their packet at those times. We will have limited packet pickup the morning of the race, but come early! You do not need to notify the Race Director if you need to pick up your packet on race day.
Q. Can I register on race day? A. No. Registration must be completed prior to race day.
Q. Do you accept cash or checks? A. No. All registrations are done online using a credit or debit card.
Q. Can I pick up my friend’s packet? A. Yes, you can. You only need the name they registered under to do so. Be sure to coordinate, we have had situations where someone picked up a packet for another and the original runner also showed up asking for their packet.
Q. Will there be a place to leave a drop bag for the race? A. Yes, details HERE.
Q. Where can I park on race day? A. Race day parking is available on most Claremont Village streets. You are most likely to find street parking to the west of Indian Hill Boulevard. Parking is not permitted on the course.
Q. When will the race results be posted? A. The timers will have a screen showing results at the finish line. Results will also be posted on this website, usually the same day, barring unforeseen acts of providence.
Q. How are runner times tracked? A. Each 5K bib has a timing chip on the back. Individual times start when the runner crosses the start line and ends when they cross the finish line. The 1K Kid's Fun Run is not timed.

Q. Are there overall awards for the 5K? A. No. We have discontinued age group medals and overall trophies in favor of providing finisher medals to all participants. Age division results will be displayed. Age divisions are <10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, etc.

Q. Will there be port-a-potties on the course? A. Yes, are port-a-potties at the 1 mile and 2 mile points on the 5K course. There are additional port-a-potties at the start/finish area in Memorial Park.
