Newton Area hopes to raise funds from this event to help support our youth programs and Ricardo Lizarraga Elementary.
The LAPD Newton Youth Programs is a city-wide, after school and during off school hours, crime prevention program designed to build positive relationships between the youth in our community and the police officers. We also offer a variety of activities such as tutoring, art and crafts, athletic leagues and recreational events year-round. These programs are offered to our youths at no cost to them or their families.
Newton Area’s Mission is to divert the youths of our City away from gangs and or criminal activity by providing a wide variety of positive recreational activities under the supervision of trained police officers. To be successful in this endeavor, the Newton Area Community Relations Office is seeking assistance from our community and business leaders. In order to make this event a success and continue to afford our community’s youth with life experiences that they would not experience otherwise, we are asking for monetary donations.
Pursuant to Internal Revenue code section 501 (C) (3), your donation is tax deductible (Non-profit organization ID No. 47-4919360). It would be greatly appreciated if you would support our worthwhile efforts. Thank you for your consideration in supporting our invaluable programs. Please make checks payable to Newton Community Activities League.
