We are excited to announce the launch of Lainie’s Legacy, a non-profit 5013c foundation we have formed in Lainie’s honor. Cancer is expensive and many cancer victims struggle with everyday expenses on top of expensive medical costs. Our goal is to give direct financial assistance and help cancer victims with daily living expenses from groceries to gas money, utility bills to mortgage payments. Cholangiocarcinoma is a very aggressive form of Bile Duct Cancer affecting 10,000 people a year with a survival rate of 2% at 5 years. We plan to raise awareness, helping to fund research and test trials to fight this aggressive cancer.
