Shaffer Family Foundation was developed to Give Thanks and Help Raise Money for the Local First Responders in the Delaware coast region. The goal is to help raise money for our local police, fire and rescue departments and expedite the donations, while affording a tax deduction to generous supporters.

Each year, the foundation organizes the Rally for our First Responders which has raised significant funds for local service organizations in Delaware.  Funds raised from the Plantation Lakes 5K will be donated directly to the Shaffer Family Foundation to boost the fundraising total for the Rally and contribute to their first responder's scholarship fund. COMMUNITY HELPING COMMUNITY ONE RALLY AT A TIME!
