HELP US RUN | LRC TRAINING PROGRAMS

One of the ways the LRC gives back to our community is by having weekly training programs and group runs that can help runners achieve their running goals through education, consistency, and the encouragement of fellow athletes.

Our goal for 2025 is $1,500 for the LRC Kids Run Club. This is a free program for kids 5 - 13 with a focus on demonstrating how running can be part of a lifelong healthy lifestyle. Our program is all about developing structure, self-confidence, and fitness. Through deliberate play, run-focused games, and adventure, we help kids get running without even knowing it.

The program is offered for 9 months each year, for the 2024-2025 school year, 300 (and counting!) students from across Lakeland participated. 

The LRC offers programs for elementary, middle school, and adults. High School runners are welcome to join in adult programs.
