The Run for Purpose 5K is more than just a fun day! All proceeds benefit our Serve the City projects though the Lakeside Church that was founded in 2007. We provide support to those that are in need through outreach projects several times a month through home restoration/remodeling/landscaping, providing food through our food distributions, meeting the needs of the homeless, ministering to those that have addictions, assisting single moms and widows, showing appreciation to those that sacrificially serve us in the city, loving on those in assisted living facilities and those in prison. These are some of the locations we have reached people in the past year: Clermont, Minneola, Groveland, Montverde, Mascotte, Oakland and Winter Garden.
