All race income goes to support Hope-Hill Elementary School, the public elementary school serving children living in the Old Fourth Ward. This diverse and vibrant neighborhood includes the affordable housing communities. Hope-Hill educates 450 children from Pre-K through Fifth Grade. We are a Title 1 school, and 79% of our students are considered economically disadvantaged.
Hope-Hill has demonstrated continuous and dramatic improvement over the past five years in both test scores and learning environment. Our academic growth rate is higher than 90% of Georgia’s schools. We demonstrated the highest growth in the district on the 2018 Milestones. We are a BEATING THE ODDS school with a 4-star Climate Score Rating.
We have multiple ways you can support us in addition to participating in the race. You are able to sponsor a teachers or students a run registration or buy a raffle tickets. If you sponsor teacher or students to run you will also receive 3 raffle tickets.
