Details

We will need people to stand along the race route ensuring runners/walkers remain on the route. Police officers will be at intersections to stop traffic as necessary but we will need volunteers to provide additional support.

Location

Volunteers signing up for this task will be notified two days prior to race day where their specific location will be along the route. You will go to the location designated in the e-mail where we will bring you a volunteer t-shirt. The route runs entirely through the Old Fourth Ward so the location will be somewhere along the route in O4W.

We will need (10) volunteers with smartphone devices to check-in runners and (10) to distribute swag bag with t-shirts.

Location

The registration area will be located at the entrance to Historic Old Fourth Ward Park off of North Ave. Volunteers will be given instructions (including a link to the app to download) two days prior to the race.

We'll need volunteers to help setup the start/finish line and registration area; this will include moving all supplies from a nearby location to the Historic Fourth Ward Park. We know it is early but we have a very small window to set up so all help is greatly appreciated!
