Your donation will directly benefit the low income immigrant and refugee community striving to learn English, become a citizen, enrich academically and socially, and build a better community through work, entrepreneurship and mutual aid.

Donations to CMAA last year resulted in:

• 155 emergency cash awards to CMAA families throughout Chicago and Elgin struggling financially under the pandemic 
• 248 households struggling to pay rent received Emergency Rental & Housing Assistance
• 130 clients secured or advanced employment, including in the field of healthcare and retail
• 1219 clients provided with language assistance in applying for benefits such as food and energy financial assistance
• 162 adults who improved their English and literacy skills
• 165 clients helped to become naturalized citizens, adjust their status or become reunited with family
• 100 diverse youth involved in after school enrichment and mentoring
