Crete Community Runners Association 4th Annual 2026 Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk

Our 4th Annual Turkey Trot brings the community of Crete together in a healthy way while giving back in the form of collecting donations to the Crete Food Pantry. Your generous monetary donation will support our non-profit organization as we continue to provide FREE events to the community. We are proud to help our community get stronger with every stride. This amazing community support will help us to provide more community events in the future! We sincerely thank you for supporting us and hope to see you on the roads!

2023/2024/2025 Turkey Trot accomplishments:

• We collected boxes of food that were donated to the Crete food pantry for the past three years
• 2023 registrants 70; 2024 registrants - 128; 2025 registrants - 158!
• We donated pet food to the South Suburban Humane Society to support their pet food pantry.
• Families, runners, walkers and dogs all participate in this community event, and we are able to provide awards for winners based on sponsorships!
• We've purchased a digital timer for attendees to track their progress year over year!
• In-kind donations from event attendees also help us keep the CCRA running all year long and allow us to make donations to other local charities and events.
