Crete Community Runners Association 4th Annual 2026 Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk

Join us for the fourth annual Turkey Trot 5k run/walk in Crete, IL! This is a FREE community event for all ages and paces. We can't wait to see everyone again this year!

While this is a fun run, we do have a timer on site for those that like to keep track! You can run, jog and walk your own pace on Thanksgiving morning! Before you gobble til you wobble, take part in this fun 5k event where we will be accepting donations to support the Crete Food Pantry. This is a FREE event, but we ask that you kindly donate a non-perishable food item while attending. We will have a donation bin at the race site. The race will begin and end at Heritage Park and we will run through the beautiful neighborhoods of Crete! This event is RAIN or SHINE! We will only cancel for unsafe weather conditions.
