KU Vets Day 5K

Donations support the Lt. Gen. William K. Jones Military-Affiliated Student Center (MASC), the KU Student Veterans of America (SVA) and the KU Veterans Alumni Network (VAN). 

  • The KU SVA chapter provides student-veterans with an excellent forum to connect with peers and provide a common voice/advocacy for student-veterans on campus.
  • The Lt. Gen. William K. Jones Military-Affiliated Student Center is KU’s centralized resource for military-affiliated students to assist students with their transition from the military to campus, persistence to graduation, and transition from the university to the civilian workforce. The center, located in 345 Summerfield Hall, opened in January 2017.
  • The VAN connects current, former and Military-Affiliated members and students through resources and events, with an aim of supporting veterans attending KU.
