Proceeds from the Louisville Earth Walk are distributed among the nine locally-based environmentally-focused nonprofits that organize the event and supports their efforts to protect and improve the quality of life for all our citizens and neighborhoods.

They are Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, Clean4Change, Kentucky Conservation Committee, Kentucky Interfaith Power and Light, Louisville Grows, Louisville Sustainability Council, Our Earth Now, Passionist Earth & Spirit Center,  and West Jefferson Community Task Force.
