The Parkway Running Club offers the most heartfelt Thank You to all of our participants, sponsors and volunteers. With your help, we were able to donate $8,000 to the following organizations. Walter’s Run proceeds have totaled more than $188,100 since 2004.

A note from Globe Santa:
This donation will buy presents for more than 100 kids who would otherwise wake up Christmas morning and not have any presents under the tree. The Globe Santa holiday gift box includes 2 toys, 2 books, a family game, a holiday card per child plus winter hat & glove sets and school supplies when available. Globe Santa will provide presents to about 45,000 kids in the Greater Boston area, including 633 children in the West Roxbury, Jamaica Plain and Roslindale area. Many thanks for helping out – through your efforts, many kids in your community will wake up on Christmas morning with smiles on their faces instead of feeling left out.
Since 1956, 3+ million children from 1+ million families have received holiday gift assistance from very generous donors who believe in the magic of the Season and neighbors helping neighbors bring a smile to a child. This year 28,457 children received and 16,698 families sent letters to Globe Santa.
