Spartan Food Security Council
The SFSC is dedicated to ending hunger on Michigan State's campus and in the greater East Lansing community. They continue to advocate for legislative changes to support college students including establishing food pantries, expanding SNAP benefits available to students, and implementing a Swipe Out Hunger program. Additionally, they operate the James Madison College Student Food Bank and hope to add more free food pantries across campus to reduce barriers in accessing food and reduce the stigma of food insecurity.
Suggested donation is $25 - the cost of a 5k run/walk. If you can donate more that is wonderful, however ANY donation amount is GREATLY APPRECIATED!
