Description
Join the Sophomore Class at Michigan State University for a 5k on April 13th to support the Spartan Food Security Council on campus, in collaboration with the Community Center for Engaged Learning. This is a FREE event and donations are WELCOME, especially in the form of nonperishable items!
The Spartan Food Security Council fights food insecurity on Michigan State's campus and in the East Lansing community. As a student-led organization, they work to advocate for legislative changes to support students facing food insecurity. Additionally, the Spartan Food Security Council operates their own food bank in Case Hall to make food more accessible.
This race will start and finish at People's Park, which is located in between Wells Hall and the International Center. There is plenty of parking in nearby lots on campus such as Lot 39, Lot 62, and Lot 79.
T-shirt pickup and check-in will take place at the Start Line beginning at 8:30 AM the day of the 5k. There are limited t-shirts available, and will be distributed on a strict first-come, first-serve basis.

Course Map
The race will start and finish in between Wells Hall and the International Center. There is plenty of parking in nearby lots on campus including lot 39 on Shaw Lane across from the International Center. There is free parking there for guests on the weekends.
