On Friday September 27th Hurricane Helene devastated Buncombe County and other surrounding communities in Western North Carolina. This once-in-a-century natural disaster resulted in severe loss of life, property, and otherwise in our area.
Western North Carolinians and, more specifically, the running community are resilient and caring people. In order to remove race registration barriers for those highly impacted by Hurricane Helene we are offering the following:
Any race participant, volunteer, or supporter of our event can donate one or more full registration(s) or a certain dollar amount to help those who want to participate but may no longer have the means to register themselves.
