2020 Gethsemane Gallop Events Cancelled Due to COVID-19
Unfortunately, due to safety concerns and restrictions put in place to keep us safe, we have made the decision to cancel our annual Gethsemane Gallop 5k Race and Walk this year. During these unprecedented times in the US and in Kenya, we appreciate your prayers, financial gifts supporting our students, and understanding as we cancel this event.

Description
Support the students of Gethsemane Garden Christian Centre by signing up to run or walk in the 2020 Gethsemane Gallop. Get your friends together and create your own 80's themed team, come dressed in your favorite 80's attire, and compete for prizes! Choose to run in the 5k or walk in our first-ever 1.5 mile walk, all on the beautiful McAlpine Creek Park course. McAlpine's course is a 5k Championship Cross Country course, so come ready for a fun and challenging run!
Why an 80's theme? Providing for the needs of a child at GGCC costs only $80 per month. Our hope is that each participant in this event will be able to raise $80 to support a month's worth of food, shelter, a Christian Education, and medical needs of one of our 657 children, most of whom are orphans. Give your friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers the joy of helping you support the needs of a GGCC student!
Gethsemane Garden Christian Centre (GGCC) is a US based, non profit organization that operates a private, Christian boarding school for orphans and vulnerable children on Mfangano Island in Lake Victoria, Kenya. For more information, visit our website at www.ggcckenya.org.

Race Information
Race Check in will be open at 7:00 am. All packet and bib pick ups will be available at the check-in table at the event.
T-shirts are guaranteed to all those who register by July 18th.
Race Day Registrations are available at 7:00 am on the day of the event for an increased price of $30.
Medals awarded for top 3 finishers in both male and female divisions.
