NAMI Richland County is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides free behavioral health education, support and advocacy throughout Richland County! NAMI Richland County provides support groups, evidence based free educational classes, company presentations, free Care Navigation assistance, youth support groups, High School presentations, Suicide Prevention training, Girl Scout mental wellness presentations & Badges, and emotional regulation education for youth. Lastly, NAMI Richland County partners with Richland County Probate Court, Behavioral Health Court, and local law enforcement to educate on Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training, support services, and crisis de-escalation to help individuals get the medical support they need instead of a criminal justice pathway.
