Please consider adding an additional donation that will go directly back to the Friends of Salt Springs!
The Friends of Salt Springs Park oversee 842 acres of Pennsylvania paradise. Established in 1994, they are a dedicated group of volunteers managing the park's upkeep, ensuring its continued beauty and accessibility.
Originally created by the Bureau of State Parks, Salt Springs State Park faced neglect due to limited funds. In response, The Friends became the first volunteer organization to manage a PA state park. Since then, they have spearheaded numerous initiatives, including facility improvements, historic building restoration, trail expansions, and diverse community programs.
Our mission is ongoing, and we need your support! Without direct state funding, they rely on memberships, donations, and grants to fund critical projects. Your contribution directly impacts the preservation and expansion of Salt Springs State Park!
