On behalf of the seriously ill children and their families Project Joy and Hope serves, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support of our Project Joy & Hope: Jars for Joy – Pennies Project. Your support of our Tulip Project housing program translates into assistance for families with a seriously ill child. Here at our residential campus on Tulip Street, families discover both joy and hope when their child is undergoing treatment at the Texas Medical Center.
Gifts given to Project Joy and Hope are utilized to support the many families with seriously ill children living at our residential facilities. Among them is Anaya (pictured at bottom, in our Tulip Project Children’s Center), age 11, who is undergoing treatment for neuroblastoma. She, along with her two siblings and parents, have relocated to Houston from Pakistan in order to utilize advanced medical care options. Painting is just one of the many activities that bring a smile to the face of the seriously ill children who come to our Children’s Center and interact with PJH staff.
The Tulip Project is a place of hope for families when they face some of life’s most difficult challenges. Here families experience peace and find comfort as a child receives cancer treatment, awaits, or recovers from transplant, or utilizes palliative care.
Project Joy & Hope only exists because of the generosity of supporters such as you who believe in our mission, and want to be involved in achieving it.
Thank you very much for your partnership with our agency. May God bless you in the same ways that you have blessed so many others.
