Description
We invite all CARTER LOMAX students, faculty, family and friends to participate in the JARS FOR JOY CAMPAIGN to support Project Joy and Hope (PJH), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting medically fragile children and their families in our community. Each homeroom will raise money to support Project Joy & Hope and compete to be the TOP FUNDRAISING TEAM. All funds raised will go directly to serving medically fragile children and their families.
Project Joy and Hope’s goal is to achieve the best quality of life and care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, by raising awareness of pediatric palliative care, educating PPC providers, and providing supportive care services and programs. Project Joy and Hope (PJH) aims to provide a strong support system, thereby helping families remain stable and intact at this challenging time in their lives.
PJH is based in the greater Houston-Galveston area and serve as an advisor and model for similar programs throughout Texas and the United States. We value your support, and there are many ways to make a difference and become actively involved. Contact us to learn how you can connect with our organization in a way that will be meaningful to you!
Visit www.joyandhope.org to learn more about our supportive care programs. PJH provides housing for families when a child receives cancer treatment, awaits or recovers from transplant, or utilizes hospice and/or palliative care.
