Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf is hosting our seventh annual Deafinitely Not Different 5K Race and 1 mile Fun Run on Saturday, March 25th to provide educational services to over 400 families in Collin County and Richardson! The proceeds from this event will directly benefit our students by providing them with opportunities such as participating in academic competitions, touring colleges, and participating in several events that promote social emotional learning...making our program even better than it already is! Â The event itself allows our students to meet Deaf/Hard of Hearing community members and allows parents within the program to meet and mingle as well.
We are seeking partners and sponsors to help us fund the event including the costs of shirts, awards, food and drinks and to help us meet our $20,000 fundraising goal. Your sponsorship is essential to the event's success and ultimately the success of our Deaf/Hard of Hearing students!  If you’ve been a sponsor in the past, you know what a great time we have honoring our amazing students! Â
The various levels of sponsorship for the Deafinitely Not Different 5k and Fun Run are:
- High School (formerly known as Corporate)- $5000 or more
- Middle School (formerly known as Platinum) - $1000
- Elementary (formerly known as Gold) - $500
- Preschool (formerly known as Silver) - $250
- Parent/Infant (formerly known as Bronze) - $100
In addition to cash donations, we also accept in kind donations, gift certificates, food/drink, and door prizes .
