Fil-Am Racing’s 2017 “Run for Heroes” campaign is an opportunity to help enhance participants’ race experience and to enrich the lives of Filipino-American Veterans and their families.
Fil-Am Racing is a not-for-profit organization. We raise funds to support our events and programs that promote a healthy and active lifestyle by encouraging participation in sports.
Additionally, proceeds from our events will benefit Filipino-American Veterans who served in World War II and their families. 2017 marks a major milestone in Filipino-American history in that April 9, 2017 will be the 75th Anniversary of the Bataan Death March.
President Barack Obama signed the bill awarding Filipino soldiers who served in World War II the Congressional Gold Medal.
