Your participation in JackFest raises funds for two critical organizations that keep families together as they face serious childhood illnesses: the Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville, which supports all families in the University of Virginia Children's Hospital.
Our local Ronald McDonald House serves hundreds of families each year, providing lodging, meals, transportation, and a community of support as they travel far from home for critical medical care here in Charlottesville. While the average length of stay is several weeks, many families stay much longer.
The list below shows how your donation helps the Ronald McDonald House, where nearly half of the operating budget is provided by local McDonalds restaurants and friends and neighbors just like you.
$15 – Change the linens in a family's room
$25 – Provide one week of hygiene supplies to a family staying at our local Ronald McDonald House
$50 – Provide the evening meal we prepare for all families staying at our Ronald McDonald House
$125 – Cover our cost to host a family overnight
$250 – Feed the children and families in UVA Children's Hospital lunch on Friday
