Semper Fi & America’s Fund is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to our nation’s critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and military families. They operate their programs and services through a “needs-based” approach. Staff and volunteers work one-on-one with our service members, veterans, and military families–providing ongoing support for as long as legitimate needs require. They can provide innovative and integrated pathways to fully realize recovery and revitalization through the following programs:
- The Service Member and Family Support Program provides direct financial assistance and vital programming for combat-wounded, critically ill, and catastrophically injured service members and military families during hospitalization and recovery.
- The Transition Program helps wounded and critically ill service members and veterans thrive well beyond injury to recovery. Education support and career assistance provide them with the skills to successfully reconnect with their communities and build new, productive lives.
- The Integrative Wellness Program applies a holistic approach to long-term health by providing tools to improve body, mind, and spirit. They foster healing through powerful therapies and innovative technologies.
At The Fund, they serve our Nation’s most critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, including those with combat-related amputations, severe burns, paralysis, traumatic brain injuries, and PTSD, as well as chronically ill military family members. To date, they have given $300 million in vital and ongoing assistance to over 31,000 service members, veterans, and military families. All grants, which are given on a needs-based basis, are delivered through a one-on-one case management relationship, the result of which is life-changing and lifesaving.
