INCLEMENT WEATHER & CANCELLATION POLICY
The race will take place rain or shine. However, in the event of inclement weather (heavy rain and wind, thunder and lightning,) we reserve the right to cancel. If lightning is within 6 miles of the race start line, race officials will make the decision to delay the start until the lightning clears.
We will make announcements of any changes through social media and over the race PA system. Participants and spectators should follow LifeGift on social media to be made aware of weather updates.
There are no race registration refunds if the race is cancelled. Due to the nature of the event the race cannot be moved to another date.
COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY
We know that it's important to have as much information at your disposal as possible before deciding to attend an event, and we want you to know exactly what your options will be should the 2022 in-person race not be able to take place as originally planned. If we are forced to cancel the in-person race due to COVID-19, all registrants will be transferred to the virtual event and participate from wherever you are.
