Can I run/walk with my family?

Maybe.  If you're faster, you may be in different corrals.  PLEASE don't jump corrals to be together.

However, if you're walking and you have the same last name, we're going to alphabetize you to keep families together.  In that case, you'll likely be together anyway.  Families like Smythe and Smithers are very likely to be together.  Abba and Zanthippe, however, probably won't unless you're faster and have similar times. 

How will I find my time?

On printouts on raceday, your results will be printed BY CLOCK TIME.  So if you cross the start at 9:07:30 (2nd wave, 2-1/2 minutes after that horn blows, and you cross the finish line at 9:50:00 (50 minutes, 0 seconds after the first start), your clock time wil be 50 minutes, your chip time will be 42 minutes, 30 seconds.  You will find yourself at the 0:50:00 mark on the printout (clock time). 

What about online results?

Online results will be ordered by chip time and will show age group placement.  How quickly will depend on internet access at Beach 1.  By around 10:30 everything should be flowing well.
