For 2027, the East Lake Firefighters 5K features a newly refined race route that has been officially measured at exactly 3.12 miles.

A true 5K.

The race will begin just north of East Lake Fire Rescue Station 57, located at 3375 Tarpon Lake Boulevard. From the starting line, runners will head north on Tarpon Lake Boulevard, passing the one-mile mark before turning right onto Lansbrook Parkway.

Runners will continue east on Lansbrook Parkway toward East Lake Road, where they will turn south onto the Pinellas Trail. A water station will be available along this section of the course.

The course continues south to Village Center Drive, where runners will turn right and complete the third mile. Upon reaching Tarpon Lake Boulevard, runners will make the course’s only left turn before beginning their final push toward Station 57.

From there, it’s a straight shot into the Station 57 parking lot and across the finish line.

A new course. An officially measured 3.12 miles. And a fast finish at Station 57.
