The East Lake Firefighters Benevolent Association is proud to welcome back their Annual East Lake Firefighters 5K on February 28, 2026. This chip-timed race includes a participant T-shirt and finisher medal for the first 300 runners registered (167 as of 2/8/26), along with a post-race pancake breakfast at East Lake Fire Rescue Station 57 located at 3375 Lake Tarpon Blvd, Palm Harbor, FL, 34685. Sign up by February 5, 2026 to guarantee your shirt size is available when you pick up your packet.

Since our founding in 2022, the Benevolent Association has donated tens of thousands of dollars to support first responders facing serious medical challenges—especially those battling cancer due to job-related exposures. Beyond that, we’ve connected with thousands of local children through community outreach, supported the East Lake Rotary Club, assisted with hurricane cleanup efforts, and helped families in need experience a meaningful Christmas.

This year’s 5K will benefit the family of Retired Fire Chief Tom Jamison. Chief Jamison’s 4-year-old granddaughter is currently battling Stage 3 brain cancer, and a portion of all proceeds will be donated directly to her family. We look forward to a morning of fitness, fun, and fundraising in support of a truly meaningful cause.
