5K Race Day Instructions
THESE RACE DAY INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOR THE HALF MARATHON AND 10K ONLY
Thank you for participating in our event this Saturday. We appreciate your support, and we hope to have a great and fun event for you.
Race day schedule
5:45 am Bib pickup/Race day registration opens
6:00 am Shuttle service begins
7:00 am Last shuttle leaves to half marathon start line
7:15 am Half marathon starts
7:15 am Last shuttle leaves to 10K start line
7:30 am 10K starts
Runner swag
Half marathon will get bib number, finisher shirts
10K will get bib number, t-shirt
10K/5K Challenge will get bib number, t-shirt
Each participant will get the shirt size they ordered.
Any exchanges will be done as we get closer to the end of the event.
Shuttle
The shuttle to the starting line will be a 60 passenger bus beginning to load
at 6:00 am up until 7:20 am. There are 105 HM so it should take 2 bus loads to take everyone to the starting line. If someone is with you he or she can drive you to the starting line as well.
It will take about 10-15 minutes to get the starting line. There will only be one bus going back and forth. Please plan accordingly to make it to the start line on time.
DON'T WAIT UNTIL LAST MINUTE TO GET TO THE STARTING LINE
Parking
All cars need to park at the finish line inside Estrella Mountain Regional Park.
6864 Casey Abbot Dr N, Goodyear, AZ 85338. The park has a $7.00 fee per car.
5K Schedule
Packet pickup staring at 8:00 am
5K Starts at 8:45 am

At the finish line
Finishers will get finisher medal
Finisher shirt
Refreshments, fruit and snacks
Wiffys Hotdogs; You get one with your ticket
Restrooms
There will be 1 restroom available at the finish line and there indoor restrooms about 150 meters away from the starting line. 2 at the starting line.
Due to the course terrain there are no bathrooms along the course.
Aid stations
All aid stations will be self serve due to the remote locations.
We will have water,
this is a cup-less course if you have collapsible or a handheld please bring it.
We strongly suggest to carry a water belt, hydration backpack or a handheld.

Course
The course will be marked using signage close to the ground.
Please make sure you follow only our signage.

Awards
Awards will be given as runners finish. 20 minutes after you finish please check our monitors and if you are top runner in the category please pickup your award on site.
You must be present to get your award.
Race numbers
Please have your bib number visible at all times. On the back of the race number you will have timing chip please do not fold or remove.
