Event: Marathon
The marathon starts on Near Island. Park at Rotary Park - the starting line is several yards down the road from the park entrance. Remember, the race ends at Bear Valley Golf Course so you will need to arrange to have someone pick you up there.

The half marathon starts and ends at Bear Valley Golf Course. This out and back course is on a gravel road and is fairly hilly. The turnaround point is at the head of Anton Larsen Bay.

The 10k starts and ends at Bear Valley Golf Course. The turn-around point is just beyond the ski chalet. So, yes, you will be running up those switch-backs! This course is all on a gravel road.
