Gentle Grizzly is a 3-hour course with 5 checkpoints. Although, the checkpoints are spread out, they are close to the start. This is a good event to attempt if you are new to orienteering trail racing, and/or would like an easier event to try. Participants can choose which checkpoints they want to get within the allotted time. A map of the checkpoints will be given after teams start. There is no official start time; all participants can start anytime between 7:00am - 8:00am.

Savage Grizzly is a 5-hour course with 10 checkpoints. Checkpoints are spread out across the state park. This event is for those teams who want a proper orienteering trail race challenge. Participants can choose which checkpoints they want to get within the allotted time. A map of the checkpoints will be given after teams start. There is no official start time; all participants can start anytime between 7:00am - 8:00am.
