Control Point Placers/Retrievers help set control points across the park and help retrieve control points after the event has completed. If you want to volunteer for this role, you must have experience with map reading and have access to an orienteering app (e.g. CalTopo or Gaia Maps) to set and retrieve control points. Volunteers receive a 20% discount to any Mountain Madness event within the next calendar year.
