Flatwoods 5K
The Flatwoods 5K is run just after sunrise on a scenic limerock loop road around the Austin Cary Forest. The race is chip timed and the course is acuratley measured, with mile markers. There is a water station at halfway, and post-race refreshments. Strollers are welcome, but please keep in mind the road is unpaved. Start time is 9:00 AM.
Online registration is $15 for the race plus $15 for a shirt. Runners 14 years of age or younger race for free, but the shirt still costs $15 (sizes down to adult XS). Day of race registration is $20 for the race, and $20 for the shirts (sizes first come first serve).
Pine cone trophies to top male and female open and masters runners, and top 3 in all age groups. All runners 14 years or younger will recieve an award.
